Bridge Cottage (sleeps 4)
This former mill-worker's cottage is located in one of the oldest parts of town on the edge of Aylsham and in close proximity to the river Bure, so you have the best of both worlds with walks and cycling routes from the door, yet having all the facilities a market town has to offer! Aylsham is in central North Norfolk and so is ideally situated for visiting tourist attractions such as Cromer, Sheringham (both with beaches), the city of Norwich, or simply enjoying the countryside. Please ask us if you have a particular interest and we will point you in the right direction.
The sitting room has original exposed beams and brick fireplace containing a woodburner style gas stove.
Spacious kitchen with bright natural light dining area and French doors leading out to the courtyard garden and alfresco dining.
The master bedroom is generously proportioned and has a 5’ king size bed with seagrass flooring. The second bedroom has a 4'6" double bed and views over the private garden.
The bathroom with bath and overhead shower & screen, sink and toilet are located on the ground floor.
Washing machine – dishwasher – fridge with freezer compartment – cooker & microwave – tv & dvd player – cd/radio - woodburner stove (gas) – bed linen and towels provided.
Gas central heating, electricity and Wi-Fi are included.
Town market, shops, restaurants and pubs all within walking distance. Take the steam railway direct to Wroxham for a day out on the broads while enjoying a novel way of getting there!
Sorry, no pets and strictly no smoking. As with many character properties, ceiling heights and doorways are lower than today's new homes - please take care when moving around the cottage. Although possible to park immediately outside, we recommend parking in a cul-de-sac 90 yards away and to only park outside for unloading and loading on arrival and departure.
