Heron Cottage (sleeps 3)

Bridge Cottage Aylsham as the name suggests - is close to the river Bure in the oldest part of the market town. You will have the best of both worlds - countryside walks from the door and a short walk into the lovely town with shops, cafes, restaurants, pubs and market selling local produce. This former mill-workers cottage is furnished in a traditional comfortable style, with a warming wood burner style gas fire to cosy-up in front of on those colder evenings. Blickling Hall (NT) is close by.

Many original features have been retained following refurbishment, including oak beams. King size bed in bedroom 1, double in bedroom 2, and bathroom on the ground floor.

Sorry, no pets and strictly no smoking.  As with many character properties, ceiling heights and doorways are lower than today's new homes - please take care when moving around the cottage.
